Dr. Mahdavi is the managing director of Digital Hub Insights and its portfolio companies. He has served at the C-level and board member in a wide range of companies large and small, public, and private. Until recently, he also served as the executive director of Financial Data Professional Institute, the premier data science training and certification body in the financial sector. Dr. Mahdavi’s educational credentials include PhD and Postdoctoral in nuclear physics and engineering from the University of Michigan. His current focus are applications of Generative AI and machine learning in financial services, industrials, and energy.
Cordell Tanny has over 25 years of experience in financial services, specializing in quantitative finance. Cordell has previously worked as a quantitative analyst and portfolio manager for a leading Canadian institution, overseeing a $2 billion multi-asset retail investment program. Cordell is currently the President and co-founder of Trend Prophets, a quantitative finance and AI solutions firm. He is also the Managing Director of Digital Hub Insights, an educational resource dedicated to introducing AI into investment management. Cordell received his B. Sc. in Biology from McGill University. He is a CFA Charterholder, a certified Financial Risk Manager, and holds the Financial Data Professional charter.
